    1. I gave 5 stars to The Black Hole by Latif Yahia because it gives a rare glimpse into the world of oil, diamonds and real estate and the manipulations of the ones making vast sums of money in these places and to the extent they will go to maintain their positions in the present setup. And this includes murder.Latif Yahia saw early that the Bush-Cheney Gambit to make themselves immensely rich by substituting CIA puppets for Saddam was going to fail. Latif wanted none of it and got put into the bla [...]

    2. This is a very good true story that reads fast and is hard to put down. Latif shows much courage in his plight to find asylum after running for his life from Iraq and his past. He doesn't always take the hero route as he describes his depression and low points of this journey. Much money is offered but he continues to keep his values when applicable and doesn't sell out. Admiration of his journey is noted. This work also shows how refuges are treated and much of it is as one would expect - disapp [...]

    3. An excellent follow up to The Devil's Double. Following his escape from Iraq, the book follows Latif's journey seeking asylum in Europe whilst still being under close surveillance from the Iraq regime.I found this book an instant page turner. A very interesting and horrific story. If you enjoyed The Devil's Double I would most definitely recommend this book.

    4. good bookThis book was a quick sequel to the action packed "Devil's Double". Mr. Yahia unfortunately had suffered more than any human should. My hope is that he gained some healing through his writing!
