    1. What can I say - Exhaustive!! Mr Jackson provided infinite detail regarding the ranching business in Texas from Spanish times up until 1821. Incredibly rich story covering much of the minute aspects of the business in the Interior Province.Very well referenced and clearly marked notations. The single best source of listings of families involved in early ranching that I have yet to see.The excellent illustrations embedded throughout the text were a delight!
