    1. Fourteen United States presidents have been Freemasons, which is almost a third of them. The Freemasons have strongly affected history, even in America. Barb Karg and John K. Young wrote 101 Secrets of the Freemasons, a nonfiction book. It is full of detailed information about freemasonry and their rituals and beliefs. It gradually builds up to a thorough understanding of the “Brotherhood”. The authors have written other historical books in addition to this one. Barb Karg has written Secret [...]

    2. Still do not know if this is propaganda trying to get people to not believe that the masons are/were involved in any kind of current conspiracy. it was a good read and a good try to convince me but it may or not be true.

    3. As a former Freemason (Master Mason / Junior Warden), I found the book an excellent study. After reading it the lure to rejoin and continue further ascent is reawakened. It trashes the various myths and conspiracy theories attributed to Freemasonry lucidly and logically.

    4. A book that should only be read by those who are not acquainted with the basic history of the brotherhood and the seas of misinformation about it. For someone like me who already knows the Freemasons were not Hyperborean magicians or NWO Illuminati reptiles, this proved to be a reminder of basic historical events that have led to the establishment of the international fraternity. I'm handing out this book to those who want an objective, easy to read and concise compilation of basic and necessary [...]

    5. Some have described Freemasonry's origins as "a mystery wrapped in an enigma." Others have said its origins "are lost in the mists of time." The authors of this book try to separate fact from fiction. What's true about Freemasonry, what's speculation, and what's out and out lies are covered here. The authors do a very good job of describing how Masonry is organized and how it functions. They respectfully do not reveal the secret signs, tokens, due-guards, and passwords Masons use to identify one [...]

    6. An apology, but shallowInteresting as a start to learning about this society. Lots of rebuttals to issues I as a novice didn't know were issues. I am reading backwards it seems so on to a conspiracy-laden work.

    7. Not a bad readI found it to be informative and entertaining. It wasn't a heavy academic tome, but more of the basic guide to Freemasonry. I liked the book.

    8. Meh. Repetitive and a bit wandering in content. Some interesting material here, but it could have been contained in far fewer pages.

    9. The real deal. Written by a master, succinct, explicit, an eye-opener. I would definitely recommend for a beginner. Easy to read, as well.
