    1. 2.5 stars. I knocked off a 1/2 star because I am so irritated with books where the culprit is easy to guess early on, yet it takes hundreds of pages to get down to it. This is another story where common sense seems to be on vacation for many of the characters. Even when something is so clear you can practically see through it, the obvious is ignored. I found myself sighing and shaking my head every time I turned a page.I guess some folks refuse to believe the truth until the baddie stands right [...]

    3. This book was interesting enough to keep reading. I didn't think the location/house/lake was a separate character in this story as some locations seem to be in other books. This was mainly a character-driven story.The heroine seemed to have a good head on her shoulders and made her own decisions no matter what the others were saying.
