    1. When I started reading this title on my Kindle I didn’t pay attention to the publication date but quickly realized it had to be from the 1800s. The language and the sentence structure were more formal than modern. My curiosity sent me to the publication date—1818 and to discover that it has recently been published in paperback. This is an amazing book and one I would highly recommend to any Elizabethan scholar. Aikin utilized primary documents from multiple sources be they letters from Eliza [...]

    2. A Kindle find - I am a huge history buff and I have a fascination with Queen Elizabeth and her life. This is a really good book - though long and a little difficult to read at times because of the language during the period this was written - and it was full of all kinds of information about her time as Queen of England.
