    1. This is another of the Ireland Series that Joann Ross has done. I like this one alot. She really makes you want to visit Ireland and get to know the people there. If only it would really be like that. Erin O'Halleran is a relief Doctor that has come to Ireland to find a cure for her best friend that is suffering from being gased while in a violent country, as a relief Doctor. She is commited to finding a cure for him. Michael Joyce is a photojournalist that has come home to Ireland to heal from [...]

    2. 3 1/2 stars. Part of a series set in modern Western Ireland, Fair Haven tells the story of Michael an award winning war photographer turned farmer and Erin, a relief doctor helping out with an ailing friend's practice in Michael's hometown. Both share in common love and concern for this friend, as well as both being haunted by their experiences in war torn lands full of atrocities and suffering. There are other ghosts as well -- Michael's deceased father puts in several appearances and a variety [...]

    3. I enjoyed the story. At first I thought it would take me awhile to connect with the characters, but before I knew I was engrossed in there lives and wanted to know what was going to happen next. Quick read for me after that.

    4. Okay. I found this book laying around in an old box. No one knew where it came from. I decided to read it. A very good positive story, with expected happy endings, although a few minor twists thrown in. A little more racey in a couple of parts than I expected and a little of the unnatural, although in a fun way. A clear story line around the horrors of war, although not the direct plot.

    5. I think of the 3 books in the trilogy, this is my favorite. I love the magic of Ireland, the sweetness of the romance and how dark and brooding Michael Joyce was. From the cabin Erin rents to the rolling green fields, Ross had me fully immersed in her small Ireland village. The paranormal elements added just the right touch of magic to the story.

    6. Another wonderful story about a small town in Ireland and a very close family in a fairy country. Erin O'Halloran came to Western Ireland to help one of her oldest friends with his medical practice due to his health. She had no intention of falling in love but meeting Michael Joyce really was destiny. This a glorious tale of dreams and Angels. Great read.

    7. A fast read which brings the characters and stories of Western Ireland to life. The novel covers family and friendship, loyalty and loss, and courage and suffering. Most of all, this is a story of love and it's miraculous power.

    8. If you loved Nora Robert's Irish trilogy you will love this book set in Castlelough Ireland. Other books set in this Irish village include Legends Lake and the beautifully written A Woman's Heart. A lovely Irish trilogy with characters you will fall in love with.

    9. Heartwarming modern fairytaleThis was another story by Ross that kept me turning pages and allowed me to feel like I was right there with the wonderful characters she creates.

    10. Looking forward to the 3rd book, which I ordered from today even though it was kind of expensive and I don't know why.

    11. Another enjoyable entry in this series,I loved the scenes with just the kids, I think they really added to the story. Now I can't wait to read Kate's story.
