    1. The plot here is a little iffy. Not only does the hero have reconstructive face surgery (with no scaring) but he has NEW EYE BALLS (can they even do that?) and his voice box was damaged.See? Iffy. So wasn't I surprised when I couldn't put this book down. I liked the hero (Chance/Steve). I wanted to know what he would do next. He was all mysterious and strong but also vulnerable - a nice dynamic character. And the heroine wasn't bat-shit crazy, which was nice.The "suspence" part of this novel was [...]

    2. Better than the 2nd book, but not as good as the first one. Maybe I just like Matthew better than his brothers. Like the 1st book, I think the pacing and plot are very good (better than the 2nd story) The timing of when Emily finds out about who Chance is is just right - it drew out the suspense without making it take so long that the reader loses patience. I liked the misdirection about who the villain is too. However, I would have liked to see a little exploration on the affect of the trauma C [...]
