    1. Got this on and I wasn't expecting that much to be honest - it definitely overdelivered! Like a cross between 1984, a book on the Russian revolution, and a tech thriller, it offers a uniquely British look at a dystopian future that gels in an almost too-close-for-comfort way to the current economic issues. The author is clearly well read/travelled as it blended various factual trinkets into the story.

    2. let me start by saying this book hits way to close to home! the political aspect of it is like looking into a crystal ball of things to come which is horrifying. This is alternative dystopian which means it is like our world but one key event did or did not take place (do not want to ruin the story with too much information) and from there the world goes on and the countries and people of Earth evolves and change because of that difference.
