    1. I've just finished reading this book, and Oh. My. Goodness. Fletcher and Clara/Clarke have really been camping out in my head the last four days. this story totally captivated my imagination, and I'm so sad it had to end!!! Members of a perpetual society called Tempus, essentially the guardians of time, the Clock Keepers preside over a vast hall of clocks deep in the Grand Canyon - clocks that designate the lifetimes of every person on earth. They have one rule: never looj at a clock. But when A [...]

    2. I couldn't wait to read this book and it certainly didn't disappoint. What a terrific imagination this author has. She never fails to deliver!! I was captivated by Fletcher's character and that of Clara /Clarke and their run ins with The Guild. I would love to hear that there'll be a sequel in the offing. A big 5⭐️ from this reader.

    3. CLARKE Kennedy is one of the last living members of one of the seven powerful families charged with safeguarding time.Clarke's sister, Anna, is sworn in is as a Clock Keeper by the Tempus Guild. During her short stint in the crucial role, she commits an atrocity that has dire consequences for Clarke and their mutual friend, Fletcher. As mortals, Clarke and Fletcher were the closest of friends, but now, as immortals, they are sworn enemies. She and the Guild have hunted him for a century but Fletc [...]

    4. This was my first read of 2017 and boy was it a good one. I am a fan of the author and love how her imagination works. This book did not disappoint. The story is a little hard to explain, and I wouldn't give spoilers anyway. Suffice to say this will have the reader constantly thinking back to what they have previously read to find clues as to what is going on.A brilliant story, and in particular a perfect ending. Love love love it.

    5. Simply loved it! It is very well written! Besides that, it is clever, creative and the characters are very likable! I recommend it to everyone who enjoys a very good and entertaining book!

    6. I'm a big fan of Melissa Delport. She's a wonderful storyteller, and most of all she gets me reading things I wouldn't normally read. This is not usually the sort of genre that I enjoy, so I appreciate any author that changes my mind. This is a great story, and an easy one to get lost into. Possibly purely because of the genre, it doesn't compare to Rainfall, but that's just a personal preference. I have a feeling that The Clock Keeper will be to many people's tastes. Also . . . I can easily see [...]

    7. I thoroughly enjoyed this story. And the bite-sized chapters meant it worked well with the ad hoc way I find time to read eBooks. The story tells the tale of Clarke, who is hunting down a person from her past on behalf of the secret organisation she is a member of - an organisation responsible for guarding time. The story jumps between past (about 100 years ago) and present. It's fairly fast paced and I found it quite original and was very happy with the way it all concluded.

    8. The Clock KeeperThe Clock Keeper is an intriguing novel about time, life expectancies, and the consequences of disturbing the natural passage of both. Can someone allow a person extra years of life without affecting the natural order? Once disturbed, what is required to fix the situation? Who is responsible to repair the damaged - and at what cost to them and all the innocents whose lives have been disrupted. This is an interesting premise.

    9. I thoroughly enjoyed this sci fi novel about trying to fix anomalies in the time line caused by the actions of one of the clock keepers. Very creative plot with an interesting take on how human beings think about time.

    10. A fun book to read.I thoroughly enjoyed this story. Protectors of time, immortals, time travel - this tale has it all! I especially loved the original Smithsonian article at the end which was the basis for this novel.

    11. Im a huge Melissa Delport fan and this book definitely didn’t disappoint. It is a book i will most definitely read again

    12. What an awesome way to end my year of reading! Every chance I got on holiday with my kids and hubby, I would curl up and get lost in this book. A truly enjoyable read.

    13. Such a beautiful story! I LOVED the ending, so wonderful! I read the article on which the story came from and HOW did your brain go there from that?!?

    14. This book is a solid good read. And while I was reading it I was all I luuuuuuuuuuuuuuv it forever, but once I finished it I wasn't as sure. I think this is a book where my rating and love thereof is affected by my mood. But I digress. We're getting the story from the point of view of Clarke; she is on a quest to right a disastrous chain of events set into motion by her sister. And righting that wrong has lead to her doing some questionable thingsbut she is not alone in that doing of questionable [...]

    15. Let me start off by saying Melissa Delport is one of my favorite authors. nothing she writes is ever bad and its ALWAYS worth the time and money. I cant say I feel the same way about many other authors. with that said this isnt my favorite Delport book. i dont feel like there was as much excitement and suspense as some of her other books. i also felt it was a bit rushed but that could be because of all the pressure her readers put her under to produce more! I really enjoyed this book. it was a q [...]

    16. Great story, artfully toldThe Clock Keeper by Melissa Delport is a wonderfully written story with great characters who have so much personality that they bound off the page. The story about the guardians of time and the efforts of Clara and Fletcher to right an old wrong will hold the reader's attention until the very last word. I highly recommend this book.
