    1. Great little indie book with funny travel anecdotes best described as a Bill Bryson road trip meets Lonely Planet guidebook to US camping and couch surfing. Even though (disclaimer!) I know the author, I learned a lot reading this and genuinely lol'd in places. My only criticism is that it could do with a harder edit, as there were a few word usage issues and missing punctuations, as well as a lot of "I" sentences, but if you can get around that, it's a gem of a travelogue and a quick read to bo [...]

    2. What a fun book! Chapters are broken down by state, and there are not 50 chapters. Looking forward to sequels. Well written, like talking with your friend after she returns from her travels and hearing all about her crazy adventures! Gives lots of cool information about places to visit, without sounding too pitchy or like a boring travel brochure!

    3. This is a fun quick read that will take you on a journey with unexpected twists and turns. I read The Tales from the Road: USA as part of my book club. I really enjoyed the authors honesty and unique prospective of her travels. Traveling is often described in the form of rose colored glasses. I appreciate that she equally shares both the good and bad experiences so that we could learn from her experiences.
