    1. I really liked this second chance romance and really liked how Delon and Tori really had to get to know each other this time around. It wasn't all lust and they really started to see who the other person really was. Some of the details around the roping etc were completely outside of my interest group, but the author conveyed this aspect of the characters nicely. This was my first book by Kari Lynn Dell and I would read more from her.

    2. Reviewed for herding cats & burning soup.: amzn/2li2IUyOh yes. I'll be reading more from Kari Lynn Dell. Tangled in Texas left me hankering for a trip to Texas to hunt down a cowboy of my very own. The quick of it is that years ago these two had a fling but neither was willing to put their desires for more out there and one day she just up and left for another state to make a life for herself. But now years later she's recovering from losing her husband and comes home only to run into Delon. [...]

    3. 2.5 stars I am always looking for sorbet, so when I saw this synopsis I was sold on the idea of a rekindled romance. The cowboy part was a bonus.I liked Tori and Delon well enough. They're both a little head shy and a lot stubborn. There's a lot of history between them and it took a really long time to work it out. There's a pretty large cast of characters here, but the stand out was Shawnee. I would seriously read a book of hers. The writing was a bit dense and it seemed to get a little repetiti [...]

    4. ***4.5 “I seem to have run out of f*cks to give” Stars***~ 4 Stars for Delon & Tori’s journey, .5 Stars for Shawnee, Beni, Fudge and Muella ~ After finishing Reckless in Texas there was no doubt in my mind that I’d be picking up the next book in the series. I loved the writing and characters that populated it. Admittedly I wanted Wyatt to be next up on the chopping block because, well, it’s Wyatt, but was more than happy to see what Fate would throw Delon’s way after what happene [...]

    5. Kari Lynn Dell is truly weaving her way into becoming one of my most favorite contemporary authors, ever. She nailed it!! When she quoted what I have always said all my life " Bareback Riders Get ready", when I read that in this book, it was like déjà vu. This book is really an outstanding, very entertaining book and so many of the things she talks about, I'm so familiar with, the rodeos in specific towns, equipment used, roping lingo, even professional rodeo Cowboys that I've known and one wh [...]

    6. The biggest risk in life is heeding the heart's call. Pride tore them apart years ago, can loss bring them full circle? Tangled In Texas reads like a country song. The road of broken hearts and shattered dreams leads right to a second chance for lovebirds Deion and Tori. If the egos and pain of the past don't terminate any chance they have at a future. Will they take the chance? I volunteered to read a copy of Tangled in Texas in exchange for an honest review. This is my second time reading a Ka [...]

    7. 4.5 stars.Tangled in Texas by Kari Lynn Dell is a delightfully charming second chance at love romance between an injured bronc rider and a physical therapist. Although this latest release is the second installment in the Texas Rodeo series, it can be read as a standalone, but I HIGHLY recommend the previous novel as well. With his rodeo career hanging in the balance, Delon Sanchez is determined to do whatever it takes to regain mobility in his injured kneee. Stunned to discover that his new physi [...]

    8. Delon and Tori had this thing in College. But she thought he only wanted a good thing, and he thought a princess like her would not want a guy like him. Oh you silly children! Now Delon's future is at stake after an accident. He has some issues to deal with there cos he wants to ride again but can't. I say that is a good thing, cos that sport sounds way too dangerous for my taste. Stay away from the broncos Delon! Anyway, he was a nice sweet guy.Tori is the daughter of a senator, but she wanted t [...]

    9. A book sure to find a place in your heart. Nothing is worse than a rodeo star getting hurt and having to sit idle. The rodeo is really all he has and to take that away thrusts Delon Sanchez into depression. His worst fear is realized and he has to face the possibility he may never ride or compete again. Enter a former flame he never got over. Tori Patterson gets him on the road to recovery and in the process finds the spark is still there and their love still burns. While this is a little darker [...]

    10. Wow, Kari Lynn Dell, draws you in and keeps you wondering what is going to happen next. Not only does she know rodeos front to back, she knows relationships and emotions. Just when you think it can't get any better it does. Relationships are hard when things are going right, but put in a hurt cowboy, his son, his son's mother and the changes in her life, old girlfriends, nosy neighbors, small town gossip, Jealousy, old loves that have become current loves, family, rivals that become friends and [...]

    11. A lovely tale of lack of communication, insecurity, bad advice, dysfunctional families and love that won't go away. Throw in rodeo riders, wealth and media to make it even more interesting. This one is a 4.5. Now I need to buy the first, which I missed.

    12. For an introduction to this author's writing, I could not have hoped for a better story to read. Ms Dell is a truly gifted storyteller, and a genius with imageryI can't count the times I felt I was part of the action, whether it was at the rodeo arena, or in a Freightliner riding down the highway. I actually had to look up bare back bronc riding just because it all was so real I had to get a visual so I made sure I had it in my head as I was reading. There was a subtle humor coming throughout th [...]

    13. I thought RECKLESS IN TEXAS, the first book in the Texas Rodeo series by Kari Lynn Dell was great, but the next book, TANGLED IN TEXAS is outstanding! I could not put this book down! Instantly, the reader is pulled into Delon and Tori’s story and held tightly until the very last word!I love how this book is put together. It’s not just about the romance. It’s about two people trying to be comfortable in their own skins when circumstances beyond their control disrupt the very fabric of their [...]

    14. Tangled in Texas hits so many buttons on my interest list it’s almost like the book was written for me. I love romance, cowboys and cowgirls, ranch life, rodeos (I’ve attended them since I was a toddler), and did I mention romance? While this is the second book in a series it can be read as a standalone book. I say that with confidence since I have not read the first book (yet!) but enjoyed this second one immensely. There are indeed many characters who populate the story, including the MCs, D [...]

    15. There were times in this book when I got so angry and frustrated on Delon’s behalf that I almost had to give up. Yes, he’s not always acting in a mature fashion, but after everything he’s recently lost, there were a few people who could have been a bit more understanding. Or more thoughtful. I stuck with it, because I cared about Delon and I wanted him to find a way through his accident to happiness. And I’m so glad I did, because while it wrung me out emotionally at times, I really enjo [...]

    16. Delon woke up mad at the world. No difference than any other morning in the last four months. He had been hurt at the end of the best rodeo season Delon ever had. He had been trampled by a horse and his lung collapsed and his leg was messed up also. Delon was to see a new physical therapist. His sessions were getting to be very frustrating that only showed the lack of progress. Delon had a son with Violet named Beni. Delon and Violet weren’t together and he just let her do whatever she wanted [...]

    17. Let me start by saying that the first thing that caught me was the cover of the book. It's hot and beautiful, unlike the story.I was so glad when I was done with this book. This was a snore fest. The characters were boring and the pacing of this book was excruciating. This book tells the story Delon and Tori, college sex buddies I guess, and how they reunited after years of being apart. Tori, born with a silver spoon, meets Delon at a college party and two hours later, they have sexual relations [...]

    18. I love Kari Lynn Dell's spot on details of rodeo lingo and techniques. I can picture every little detail like I'm watching a movie because of her detailed writing. Delon Sanchez one minute is at the top of his professional career and the next his prorodeo career may be over due to a shattered knee. He shows up to his first physical therapy appointment to find that the new therapist is his ex that broke his heart. Could his luck get any worse? Can he let Tori Patterson try to help him get his kne [...]

    19. I must say after reading the first book I was NOT looking forward to Delon's bookason why you might ask? Well in the previous book we only got to see Delon in Violet's eyes and to be honest she made you feel like Delon was the bad guy. Always trying to ruin her relationship with Joe (which yeah he could have done things differently where Joe was concerned) but again you only at that point had Violet's POV on what happened with Delon. This book opened up Delon's POV and MAJOR insecurities that he [...]

    20. This is the first time, I've read Kari Lynn Dell. Although I enjoyed reading this story about Delon Sanchez and Tori Patterson reconnecting years later after a brief, but intense, relationship, the first 1/3 of the book was difficult to push through. In part because of the emotional dysfunction of both Delon and Tori, and the people surrounding them, influencing their choices whether indirectly or not. As a result, the plot is convoluted at first. By the time, the couple start over, a lot of wat [...]

    21. *4.5 Stars*Good golly! I think I liked this second installment even better! But then, I'm a sucker for a second chance romance. :)***This second installment was even more riveting than the first. Hooboy but I'm enjoying the heck out of this series! Delon is out of commission for bareback riding due to the accident suffered in Reckless in Texas. He's been assigned a new physical therapist and the person it turns out to be is a shocker. But she just might be the one to fix his kneed his life. Tori [...]

    22. I really liked Tangled in Texasmostly because of the three dimensional characters. I especially liked Tori, who was badass and didn't take crap from anyone. The snappy dialogue was another plus. One thing that bothered me a bit was that most of the hero and heroine's time together was fraught with insecurities, both in the past and the current day, and most of the conflict stemmed from them. I got tired of them doubting themselves and one another. Despite that, however, the book was engaging wit [...]

    23. Great book, with a storyline, that as great and kept me guessing where the story was heading. Love Beni. The little boy was a great kid, couldn't help falling in love with him. Highly recommend to others.

    24. Love this series! If you love contemporary western stories this series is a must read. Strong characters makes the story come to life. They are fearless, faithful, loyal and honest people doing what they love. They have each other's back and are in each other's face too!. Hard to put down once you enter their world.

    25. Very interesting story about the meeting of former "friends with benefits". Both have histories since they parted and they both have family and notarity issues!I bought an e-book of this story and also received a free paperback from the publisher.
