    1. The Nancy Drew series was my favourite mystery series to read, while growing up! And as you can see, I still can't resist a good one. I hadn't read this one before and it was fun but I kind of guessed who the bad guy was right from the start, hahaha. I blame this 27-year-old version of me! Ah, off to read The Swami's Ring or The Greek Symbol Mystery or The Secret in the Old Lace now - I can't decide which. Spoiled for choice! :-D

    2. Not one of the best books. I didn't really feel like I was on the edge of my seat. I would not recommend it.

    3. this book was kinda scary, but it was still really goode problem is that in the halls there is this Kachina doll floating around, and you don't know where it's coming from.

    4. Nancy Drew and her friends, Bess and George, visit Arizona to solve a mystery on a friend's ranch. Nancy and her friends go on another trip to solve a mystery. Two things were different in this book: 1 - the supernatural part of this story was not explained away, like it is in the other Nancy Drew books and 2 - the guys (Ned, Dave, and Burt) were not in this book.

    5. It was a decent Nancy Drew mystery story, but I did not enjoy the fact that the ghost was actually real. That's a pretty big break from the previous stories in this book series.

    6. I just found out that the Diana D. books I read in my early teens are actually Nancy Drew books. I read five of them and can basically remember almost nothing but I wanted to review this one because it was the scariest book I had read to the date.I remember being up under my covers with a flash-light (yes, I did that) reading and trembling and wishing for it all to be over. This book actually scared me and for that, for that trill I'm thankful, it's always nice to read a book that gets to you. I [...]

    7. One day Nancy Drew receives a letter from a friend she hasn't heard from in a while. In the letter, her friend is asking if she'll come to Arizona and solve a mystery for her. Her friend wants to make a fitness ranch and with the fact there is a ghost haunting the place, she's not sure if anyone will want to come and stay. As always, Nancy is on the case. The book was a little slow at times, but does get really good. I haven't read many Nancy Drew books, but I think Nancy is a great character. Sh [...]

    8. Not the best Nancy Drew mystery I've read. Yet I couldn't bring myself to give it two stars because it is Nancy Drew. And it is one of the first I read in french and I had a life changing revelation when I discovered than Nancy was Alice in the french versionSo about the book itself, well the plot was not as interesting as I thought it would be. I think that the whole kachina doll business was tacky but missed something to make it great. Other than that there is no revelation about these dolls a [...]

    9. These were my favorite books when I was a kid. I have almost the entire set of yellow back books- I'm missing 4. Anyway, I passed many happy hours reading and re-reading and re-re-reading these books. They were dated then, so I imagine they are way, way, dated now. I think they have updated versions, but, in any case these books have brought me many hours of joy. I remember this one being one of my favorites. The cover-art is different than mine though.

    10. I just love the Nancy Drew series! I know that these seem young for me, but I love the quick read. I took this book camping and it was fun to be able to pick it up when I had a chance. Keene has a way of making sure you'll never figure out the mystery. I love that about her. I also love that there a little romance mixed in. Fun to read. You'll never guess how this one ends!

    11. Actually decent mystery. What seems supernatural really is this time. It's not just some guy in a white sheet. Or a white balloon. It was actually a little creepy. Nancy had so many encounters with this ghost but she took it all in stride. Oh yeah ghost is leading me to clues no big deal

    12. My original school reading record reviewI thought this books was very good because I wanted to carry on reading to finish rea the book but I had to stop because I had already read two storys that day.

    13. Nancy hunts down a long lost Native American Treasure, guarded by Kachinas. Meanwhile someone is sabotaging the ranch, setting fires, stealing things, Nancy must clear the name of a boy on the ranch before he's sent away for something he didn't do!

    14. For whatever reason, I found Kachina dolls intriguing before I read this book. Maybe we were just back from a family vacation. I'm not sure, but the Kachina dolls are what made this Nancy Drew book work for me.

    15. I remember loving this one and being really into kachina dolls after reading it. I love the supernatural aspect never being explained away, so unusual in this series. Rereading it again in my old age was a sentimental guilty pleasure.

    16. Classic Nancy Drew. One of my all time favorites. Still can't look at a Kachina doll without doing a double take lol.

    17. A classic, intriguing Nancy Drew mystery. Feels like I'm reliving my childhood fantasies of detectives again!
