    1. This forced-marriage-by-blackmail story is what I like to call aClan of the Cave Bear book. No, this story isn’t about cavemen, but the hero is a Neanderthal – as in a throw back to an era where Margaret Pargeter and Lilian Peake roamed HPlandia. The heroine is his perfect Neanderthal mate who lets him walk all over her for orgasms. The Clan of the Cave Bear was not about Neanderthals. In fact, I don’t remember what it was about. Just that I couldn’t put it down and I had to finish readin [...]

    2. This is going to be one of those ranty reviews and you can put it all down to heroine.A Beauty and the Beast story. Guess who’s the Beast? Yep, the bitchy, strident, entitled, snooty bee-yotch of a heroine. I felt so sorry for Beauty, our poor six foot bajillion inch arrogant Spanish-raised-by-his-bootstraps tycoon, that fell in love with her.Once again, the apple doesn’t fall from the tree adage comes to life as the heroine is coerced/blackmailed by her two parents, the Worthless's, into th [...]

    3. dat was an amazing wonderful read ! i absolutely loved it ! i admired briar's spirit n feisty manners. she never allowed diablo 2 walk over her !! she pestered him, irritated him, did not give him a chance 2 feel peaceful n he deserved it after the stunt he pulled lol ! though at the end, we learn dat all was not as it seemed 2be. appearances were deceitful. briar took the right decision (u will learn what i'm talking about when u read the book), she had 2 think of herself 1st n i think what she [...]

    4. It's not often that the hero is the one who misjudged. In fact, maybe this is the first from me. I like it :)

    5. SPOILER SPOILER SPOILERI'm warning everyone now that this review will be full of spoilers, because I do not have the energy to censor. I'm too seriously pissed of by this book. If you care, don't read on.I picked up this book by chance, when I was sorting through my book to determine which to keep and which to give away. I found this in the back of the bookshelf and I didn't remember reading it before so I opened it at a random page in the beginning of the book and started reading. Well, now I c [...]

    7. Not terrible, some ok emotional angst. I prefer it when the hero knows he's in love with the heroine before the very end of the book. Side note, OMG, I couldn't stop cringing whenever I saw the word "Blaxlea."

    8. Diablo blackmails her into marriage because her dad has gambled all away to him. He loves her and she hates him Blames him for dads mistakes. Mostly love story but he catches her using birth control and lieing about it that is the only conflict towards the end before HEA. Loved it.

    9. not badThe story was okay. Did not like how she felt superior to him all the time. Too much class distinction. That being said, it was a good story. Read it twice.
