    1. My MusingsI thoroughly enjoyed this delightful romance. The plot is interesting and the characters are interesting and surprisingly well developed for a shorter book. I look forward to reading more from this talented author. Happy ☺reading 📚!

    2. Vikki’s MusingsThis is not the first book I have read by Hildie McQueen, and it will not be the last. I’ve been hooked on her writing ever since I read Where the Four Winds Collide. Whether she is writing a Scottish Highland romance, a contemporary one, or a sweet western, she will delight a reader’s heart. The Widow’s Choice is a sweet western romance with a strong heroine and an amazing hero. This is a great start on a new series for Ms. McQueen and I look forward to reading Jerrick’ [...]

    4. Patrick and CharlieCharlie married her husband Daniel as a mail order bride. After his death, she lives alone with his sister Mary Ellen. Patrick and Jerrick, who look nothing alike, consider themselves as brothers and plan to find a place for a new start. I'm a big fan of Hildie and she continues to entertain me with all of her books. She brings the characters to life. This is a beautiful love story and I really enjoyed the side story of Jerrick and Mary Ellen. It made the book so much more.

    5. Great storyMs Hildie did an excellent job of telling me about her characters and about the struggles they had to face in the story of the early days of the west.

    6. In 1860’s Montana, Charlotte “Charlie” Kennedy has been doing her best to run the Horseshoe ranch by herself since her husband Daniel’s passing. She has some help from her foreman Joe and her sister-in-law Mary Ellen, but it is a tough job. In addition, there is also fellow rancher Jessup Winfrow who keeps harassing her about selling the ranch to him and marrying him.Rafe Preston and his best friend Jerrick Black each want to own land and have a ranch of their own. 8. The widows choice.A young widow is looking for ranch hands she desperately needs for her ranch. She has been unable to hire anyone because of her neighbor who is trying to buy her ranch. Two new men come to town and go to work for her. One of the cowboys takes a shine to her and her neighbor steps up his trouble making. This is great read not to steamy but just enough to be interesting. Read about all the trouble and the good times. A must read.

    9. It's a sweet story. Lots of potential for other books. I lived both Rate and Charlie, they didnt rush into anything more of a slow build in their relationship. Good plot, not too drawn out and good development of other characters.

    10. Way to go HildeHildie writes just the best western novels. This new series has the makings of a great series and if that is any indication of things to come-wow! Another classic series I'm so excited.
