    1. The author has a way with words and this short story is memorable for not only the tale, but the idea behind it. As we grow old and new ideas and younger generations take over some times it is best to let go in an honorable way.Great job with the feel of this book and location descriptions. The author has captured a bit of magic here.

    2. Unique and interestingGreat story with a strong point to make and extensive cultural insight. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a short, intellectual glimpse into the changing life of African tribes.

    3. This is a well written story about and old tribal leader being challenged by a young warrior, with a nice twist at the end.

    4. "Too Old For War" by Frank Scozzari is a great short story depicting a chieftain and a young member of his tribe who wants to challenge his rule and become leader. The Chieftain clearly remembers his glory days and knew it was a matter of time before someone would challenge him, and decides to go out with dignity. The way he does it leaves food for thought. I really enjoyed this short story although it's not my usual genre. The story makes you think of your own life and dignity we allow for ours [...]

    5. Great Book telling of a tribal leader who is challenged for his throne. The way he goes about giving up his seat is not only dignified but also the young man who takes his place is taught a valuable lesson on humility. Excellent written and gets the point across.
