    1. Written with some humor. Can't rate it until I've tried it. Looks a little more complicated than just cutting out the grains.Update. I've tried it and now been off the diet a few weeks. I'll be going back to it as I felt better, even though significantly restricted, while on it. I didn't lose a lot of weight - 10 lbs, but my gut was improved. It is just hard to apply to a normal social life!

    2. Have already seen some improvement in my body since starting. Started wheat free 2weeks ago and grain free three days ago. My leg swelling is down and my glucose levels are down!     3. I had to give up grain quite a while ago. How I wish I had this book when I first started. It is easy to follow and makes it very easy to start. People need to realize that this is a life change - not just a 10 day diet/cleanse. I would say that it was a little commercially at times, and I wish there had been more recipes examples.

    4. I read Wheat Belly before I read this and I actually preferred the more scientific approach of the first book. This book is simplified and largely practical. Having said that, you are not going to believe the difference this can make to you unless you try the detox for yourself. It claims to heal from the inside out and non scale victories are in some ways even more important than the weight loss that should follow if you do the detox without cheating.     5. The first couple chapters seemed to repeat the same information and almost felt like it was advertising for the book. (which is odd considering I was already reading it.)Overall I don't think it's something that could ever work for me. Seems like it eliminates a lot of different foods and doesn't seem sustainable long term, especially for a vegetarian.

    6. Very well written and includes a lot of valuable information. The techniques are pretty straight forward and the meal plan and recipes sound great. I will be starting the detox in a few days when I get all the stuff I need together.

"health begins with personal effort" . . . . . how true!There is good information in this book for living a healthier life. The wheat belly 10 day detox program takes a genuine commitment to succeed and it is only the beginning of changing life long habits.(I did got an "infomercial feel" reading it and the attempts at humor didn't work for me.)

    8. This book changed my life! The recipes are so easy and ingredients are used over and over. It's a change of lifestyle for the better. I could go on and on about it but since eating only real food, I've had more energy and virtually no bloating; I stay full longer; and I have virtually no sugar cravings.     10. Informative and a good resource to keep "in my back pocket." Some of the recipes weren't that great but loved the cheesecake and the chocolate peanut butter fat bombs as a treat!
