    1. My Eyes! My Eyes!-__- It's like Strawberry Shortcake threw up all over the place. It is *definitely* not my cup of tea. I opened the book at the dinner table and my husband shielded his eyes and was like "tha Fuck?"Yeah 'bout sums it up.I'm sure lots of women love this eclectic Strawberry Shortcake style. More power to you! Not for me and my fam. I'm giving a second star because the book is very well made, laid out, designed, etc.

    2. Ugh, what an awful book on so many levels. Beware the title of this book, "Happy Home Outside; Everyday Magic For Outdoor Life", as it does not convey what is in this book. I have to admit that I did not really "read" this book as the illustrations immediately convinced me that the ideas presented by Charlotte Hedeman Gueniau are absolutely ridiculous. This book is not about gardening or landscape design at all. Guenaiu just takes inside decorating outside. I don't know where she lives but her c [...]

    3. The entire book is all aboutcolours : the more of them the better; andcushions . The entire book could well be a cushion catalog. And of course, the more colours a cushion has, and the louder those colours, the better. Almost everything the author does to decorate stuff or give things a cosy feel, involve the aforementioned 2 things. After a while it gets really monotonous and your eyes start to bleed.

    4. loved it!! didn't realize it was a Danish author until then end and thenduh!!!, another reason why I LOVED it!! super creative and kooky

    5. Makes me want to spend all my time outside :) Not that I didn't want to do that anyway, but I really have urges to spend time in pretty outdoor spaces now.

    6. The inclusion of a tipi and racist terminology in the accompanying text totally ruined this book for me. NOT recommended.

    7. Cute -- very "boho chic" or whatever you'd call it these days, but the colors appeal to me.I have to stop reading these sorts of books, though -- none of them ever addresses a climate like the Pacific Northwest. 90% of these looks/projects/ideas would be completely dank , filled with mildew and approximately 900 spiders, if they stayed outside here for more than a couple days. (Either that, or so covered in insecticide you wouldn't want to sit on them anyways.)I know I've said this before, but a [...]

    8. While the brightness might not be for everyone, it's very cheerful and inspiring. Makes a person imagine their own cheerful spaces.

    9. This is a book meant to be pretty eye candy. But not super practical where I live. Some ideas will translate well to indoor cosy nests.
