    1. I read this genre as rarely as I watch Neighbours but I'm really interested in the Inkling angle, have the same Christian worldview as the author and, as in with a soap, I want to see what the characters do next. It's far more soapy than meaty but I am being entertained by the literary titbits and am strangely encouraged by the gentle biblical and spiritual content. Is this what 'summer reading' is like? :-)

    2. I liked this one the same way I liked the first. One storyline was frustrating but necessary to keep the tension going. The Inklings tie-in and the Oxford setting are what drew me in and kept me reading.
