Published in the 1990s, it is out of date in regard to both modern content and modern approaches of studying other cultures, I don't recommend this edition, though later editions of this series may be better. Particularly at issue are some of the assignments which lead students in the direction of multiculturalism that was prevalent in the 1980s and 1990s, but led to cultural appropriation and other cultural sensitivity problems.
