    1 thought on “Wild Roses”

    1. In the first book of the series Maire could not walk. Now she is riding a horse and on the way home from visiting her companion's are killed and she is taken by the sister to a Norman Lord. When the Lord finds her in his bed he does everything he can to find her family. The problem comes from the fact that the two family's are enemies. Afraid she will be used against her family she pretends amnesia. It is a well written book of love and fear.

    2. This was a heart renching tale of love. Captured by the enemy Normans, Maire was torn between protecting her brothers and the enemy Ducan she had come to love. Pretending she couldn't remember who she was gave her time to plan an escape, but truely she wanted to stay. This one reduced me to tears.a fabulous gripping tale. Then there was the brother Niall the women he thought he was to marryturned out to want another.hope there is a book for him.Great story can highly recommend

    3. After reading Triona's story, Maire is kind of dull and too sweet. she seems frightned of everyone and everything. That she finally finds her backbone is a good thing. However, Duncan a beautiful man, in and out. The perfect lord protecting all under his rule and more. The end was a bit rushed but thankfully not disappointing. Just feeling really bad for poor Niall.

    4. I enjoyed this book. Though if you do read the first book, this one can seem a let down. However, I do believe that the author did stay true to Maire's character. I too am anxious to hear Neill's story! If you enjoy sweet, you'll love this story, and if fiery is your addiction, then Wild Angel is a must read for you. I have to believe that Neill's story will be smoldering

    5. It was an okay book. It had all the potential in the world to be a great chick lit but failed. The plot was amazing but i wished there had been more character development between the two love interests. It was underwhelming.

    6. I was pleasantly surprised by the sweetness of both the hero and the heroine. I love how Minger manages to write books that are both romantic and historically interesting! This one is the sequel to Wild Angel, so be sure to read that one first! :-)

    7. GOOD READ.This story so defines the statement "love is blind" . Duncan never saw Maire as handicapped an it was great watching their love unfold but is there a sequel of Niall ? I will keep looking in the meantime enjoy wild angel and wild rose.

    8. Good bookI loved this book by Miriam minger and the other book in the series they are both good ms. Minger is a very good author

    9. If i ever read or hear the nominal phrase Jesu, Mary And Joseph i will kill myself. Just hang myself in the woods. But all in all a good book :) !!

    10. Hmmm i did kinda like it but not as good as the 1st book - Wild Angel. I still want to read Niall's story.
