    2. Across the Stonewind Sky by Ged Maybury is a rollicking alternate-world adventure story with airships and many of the trappings of a steampunk novel. In addition to all that has been mentioned in the previous review - which I agree with completely - I feel that the setting of this story is one of its strongest elements. Set almost entirely in the aerial realm of Arkorvarste, the totally-British main character is used to good effect by the author to explore the world and I was left wanting to fin [...]

    3. From the get go, Ged Maybury captivates the audience with a world dominated by steam powered flying machines, air pirates, fearsome vixens and ultra-British people. This novel is a great addition to the steampunk genre and any steampunk aficionado's library.
