    1. This book didn't work for me on so many levels I'm not really sure where to start. I guess the first thing is, I found the hockey theme completely impenetrable. I don't follow it, it's not played at all in my country and I have very little interest in sports, so I found much of the play jargon and inside knowledge complete gibberish, especially the politics and workings of drafting and trading players. I get that it's vitally important to the storyline, and obviously Sugden loves it so I can't b [...]

    2. Back in January I got on a Hockey Romance kick and one of my favorite discoveries was Anna Sugden's A Perfect Distraction! I anxiously awaited the July release of book two, A Perfect Trade - and I was not disappointed! We got to know Tru and Jenny in book 1, as Bad-Boy's closest friend and the team's puck bunny of choice. I'll be honest, I was nervous about getting to know Jenny better. Puck Bunny's have sort of a low standing in my social world (as in, I can't imagine being one and don't have a [...]

    3. WOW Awesome story I loved it from start to finish and although I was eager to get to the end I didn't want this one end :)Tru Jelinek is one heck of an ice hockey player and plays for the Ice Cats from New Jersey he has 3 brothers a wonderful mother who has raised the boys on her own after their father walked out on them but Tru is like superman always wanting to protect people from getting hurt he has a big heart but a big mistake that he made years before has left Jenny Martin who has had a re [...]

    4. 4 ½ of 5 Stars Professional hockey player, Truman (Tru) Jelinek, life has been on a downward spiral. He decides to help the one person he ever loved, Jenny Martin, obtain a dream. However, Jenny is not sure if she can forgive him for the mistake he made in their past. I love Tru. He’s a good guy and wants to take care of the people he cares about to a fault. He seems to bend over backwards to make amends to Jenny. I felt horrible for him that everything seemed to go wrong for him at once. H [...]

    5. "I'm sorry, I thought I was doing the right thing."Tru Jelineck has said that so often it should be tattooed on his forehead. Par for the course for a man who thinks he knows what is best for everyone in his life. The trouble is, while his intentions are good, his manner and actions are often overbearing, unwelcomed and sometimes downright dangerous due to the consequences issuing from those actions. Jenny Martin has first hand experience with Tru's "helpfulness". When they were teenagers and in [...]

    6. A Perfect Trade is book 2 in Anna Sugden Jersey Ice Cats series. Tru and Jenny both have pasts that are filled with a lot of hurt. Tru betrayed Jenny's trust when they were teenagers and their relationship has never been the same. Now both of their lives are in an upheaval. Tru wants Jenny to trust him but can she? Jenny fears trusting Tru will lead her to more heartache. Or if Jenny trusts Tru can they both find their happiness? This is the author's second book with many more books to come!

    7. "A Perfect Trade offers a realistic treatment of modern-day life and romance in spite of the fact that a famous hockey player is involved. The story is quite believable, as are the characters" (RT Book Reviews). 4 stars

    8. A Perfect Trade by Anna Sugden is the second installment in the New Jersey Ice Cats series. Elements of dreams, plans and redemption are sprinkled throughout this hockey romance both on and off the ice.Jenny Martin is the “queen of the puck bunnies,” the women who chased those sexy hockey players and a grade school friend of an Ice Cats. Is she ready to relinquish her crown for something more fulfilling? While her friends are settling down and beginning the next phase of life, Jenny wonders [...]

He did enough for her a long time ago, and it hurt her more then he knew. She never told him the truthWhen a good friend has a strokeTru is right there, and will do anything for her.e lengths he goes is pretty amazing. Jenny is not so sure about it. 11. I really enjoyed A Perfect Trade. This book was well-written and grabbed my attention right from the start. This was one story that I didn't want to end. It made me wish I read at a slower pace, so I would still be absorbed in Anna Sugden's characters. I loved the idea of the heroine being the queen of "puck bunnies", that being said don't judge her too harshly, she has a story and has reasons for why she does certain things. I really enjoyed Jenny as a heroine and her and Tru definitely made me [...]
