Wow, not only am I in awe that a teenage girl pulled this book together by approaching all of her favourite authors to raise money for Unicef, but I am deeply moved by the very real stories of the many conflicts in the world that affect children, and deprive them of the childhood they deserve. If we ignore the children today, we can expect no better than to be duly ignored in our twilight years. I will be buying many copies of this book, and giving them to the children I work with.     2. This is a lovely and unique book - essentially a collection of short works edited by a teenage girl, Mariah Kennedy. The story of how the book came about is an inspiring one in itself, and it is filled with a collection of tales focused around children, how they experience the world they live in, the hardships they face, the world they observe, and the steps they take to try and effect change. I'm not a big fan of short stories, but I'm glad I read this collection.

    3. Edited by a 16-year-old, and unfortunately it shows. Some of the stories were filled with spelling mistakes and grammatical errors; essentially lazy writing, which made it hard to study with my class.
