    1. The best (and really, only) overview of his life and works we have in English, and deserving of 5 stars for that alone. However, that we also get to read excepts from his untranslated novels, poems and interviews makes it essential reading for Bjorneboe fans (which should be all of you). To read more about the end of his life was deeply upsetting, but this was expected. Great to get more of the background to his work, and learn more of the "scandals" he caused.
