    1. I'm wondering whether I read a different book than other peoplePart of the problem is that I didn't realize this was book two in a series, so I started off confused. I added a star to compensate for that mistake (otherwise the book would have gotten a one star). So I'll try to overlook my total disbelief about any sane human being forgetting that there were cameras hidden all over his office. I'll try to ignore the fact that the world is apparently mysteriously obsessed by the sex life of a mid-l [...]

    2. ~~1 HEART~~I felt like there was no point in this book. The sex tape is made public and Lydia takes the promotion in Europe but only to resign. What was the real point? I felt like I wasted my time reading this.

    3. First, I was afraid Then, I was petrified. but not in a good way. I really like your books, Ms. Kent, but this one was really slow!!!!I mean, I know what's gonna happen for the third!!! It reminded me [and a lot] to your series. Mike is a total sweetie, same as Jeremy, but Lydia's a total prick! I was really, really, really happy for getting my copy, but at page 50, and almost sleeping, I wanted to throw my e-reader.I hope that the next book gets better. My final rating is 2.5 stars.

    4. I don’t know what to say about this book other than it was slow and predictable. There was no cliffhanger or mystery about what is going to happen in the third book. I don’t even know if I’ll read the final book when it comes out.

    5. I'm writing my review for this three book series as one review because it should have been a stand alone. Apparently there's another series about this threesome but I won't be reading it. This series is in desperate, desperate need of an editor. I'll say that again. It's in desperate need of an editor. I repeated myself because there are chunks of these books that literally repeat themselves. For instance, there is a conversation about anal sex that happens for the first time, twice. Yes, you've [...]

    6. Love this series – Full of humor, angst, super-hot romance and a few twists!! 4.5 starsLydia has taken a job in Iceland of all places to get away from Matt, no make that Mike – the CEO who was playing on a reality show and was so enamored with her he forgot there were cameras rolling. Yikes! When Mike sends Jeremy to keep an eye on Lydia, she discovers he is more than a familiar face; he is witty, charming, relaxed and had a special way of looking at her: “Those were the eyes of a man who w [...]

    7. So I apparently read this book 3 years ago and sadly, I didn't love it first time around. However, I did enjoy this second reading. Lydia is finding her way in the aftermath of the sex tape. Thankfully for her the media isn't knocking on her door but she's mending a broken heart and trying to find her new normal. Jeremy has been asked by Mike to go to Iceland and check on Lydia. Jeremy is exactly what Lydia needs but it took some coaxing on his part to be her friend. They try to deny their chemi [...]

    8. The plot thickensAs Maliciously Obedient continues, Lydia journeys on to Iceland, and Matt or Mike, fades to the background. Jeremy, Mike's friend, steps to the forefront, and all kinds of soul searching ensues all around. I'm rooting for a threesome and can't wait for the last book.

    9. Great sexy read! This was another quick read, very erotic & steamy! It was quite the juxtaposition between getting her heart broken then falling for her sex toy

    10. The only thing Lydia hates more about Iceland than her job is that she misses Mike. Jeremy is a pleasant surprise but does make her miss Mike less.

    11. BOOK 1 WAS OK BUT BOOK 2 NOPE LYDIA IS JUST GETTING MORE ANNOYING & SENDING HER TO ICELAND WAS RIDICULOUS . THEN SENDING HIS FRIEND JEREMY TO LOOK AFTER HER??? SERIOUSLY, WHAT A JOKE NONE OF THE CHARACTERS STOOD OUT EXCEPT FOR FIESTY GRANDMA SORRY BUT BOT READING BOOK 2

    12. Second in this series. This was a good read, although the humor that was evident in the first book is missing. The story moves quickly and is interesting. On to the next.

    13. Ooooh no, Book 2 in the Series went down a star! What happened? This is honestly at 2.5, but I round up. Well, that's what I'm still wondering. What happened? Not a whole heck of a lot. (view spoiler)[-- The tape was released-- blah blah I'm hurt and not listening to you explain-- please listen -- no? okay go about your business like I never existed-- but I'm going to kinda stalk you a bit, hope you don't mind-- how does Iceland for a job sound? -- here's my hot best friend to "comfort" you-- co [...]

    14. The PremiseThe second entry in the Obedient series, Lydia Charles and and Matt Jones, aka Michael Bournham (CEO of Bournham Industries) have been caught having sex in the office and their sex tape is about to go viral. Michael tries to protect Lydia by shipping her off to Iceland in a hastily made up position as Director of Communications, and sends his best friend, Jeremy to follow her and protect her, and let’s face it, hook up with her, since they’re into that. The GoodI think I like the i [...]

    15. This is the second book in the Obedient series and it when it starts Lydia and Matt/Michael are "finishing up" in the office and he manages to get her out of the office and down the stairs (yep stair since the elevators have cameras close to them) without any cameras being able to see her face. She has no idea that everything has been caught on camera so off they go to dinner. Michael figures he has one last night with the love of his life because he knows he already is in love with her. So he t [...]

    16. We met Lydia, Mike, and Jeremy in Maliciously Obedient where we got left in a bit of a precarious situation. That book featured Lydia and Mike,or was it Matt, no wait Micheal Bournham - well whoever he was. Jeremy was there as more of a secondary character. In Suspiciously Obedient Jeremy gets to come into the spot light. I adored Jeremy. In spite of being as messed up as everyone else, he also seems to know who and what he is and what he wants. He doesn't put on airs. He is so down to earth, ope [...]

    17. So this series has the dubious honor of getting me to add two new shelves to my tags list. The first new shelve is "Author owns a thesaurus" and the second is "Overdose of Angst."I'm rating it as a series as each book has basically the same format of boy & girl meet, angst, angst, angst and one sex scene and book ends. Okay so the one sex scene is not true for book two I think there was a whooping two maybe three at max.The angst is so over the top that you would think that you were reading a [...]

    18. The referencing of Fifty Shades of Grey right from the get-go and even mentioning how they wished they were characters from that "book" (I use the term loosely.) was a turn off for me. But many people like that, so complain I did not because the story still pulled me and made me want to read more! Then again, I'm not the typical audience for this type of book. Yknow, being a guy and all. :PJulia Kent is a wonderful author who writes realistic characters. Her heroines aren't the type to just wilt [...]

    19. After the cliffhanger from the previous book I couldn’t wait to start the second book. But know I have a problem I need Part 3 NOW!!This one is even better than the first one, to start to learn more and more about all characters, the bond between Jeremy and Lydia has funny and steamy parts.Mike thinks he did a good job by sending Jeremy to watch over Lydia, but boy is he in for a threat and I don’t think he is going to like that.Jeremy on the other hand has made a great job of filling the vo [...]

    20. Loved this series. You have to read the series in order. Book two leaves right were book one left off. Mike has damage control. He needs to get Lydia out of the light. When she finds out that she was sleeping with the CEO and their sex video hits the media, he knows that she will hate him. Lydia moves to Iceland to get away from the mess. Jeremy comes to play bodyguard but soon they find love into each other. She takes Jeremy home to meet family and figure out where mike is hiding. Mike is hidin [...]

    21. Three and a half starsI decided to buy this book because I read Maliciously Obedient in the $0.99 box set called Love in Disguise and found it endearingly funny. I laughed so hard at the Detroit trip that tears ran from my eyes. Seriously, the first book was so much fun to read. The tone of this book is a little darker, more serious. The characters are rich, flawed, and lovable. No intense action, not much violence, and no surprises. What you see(plug in cliche). The boys are hot and sexy with p [...]

    22. I don't like Jeremy to me he is a little to smarmy for me. With that said he did do as he was asked. I still feel like he over stepped. I see where Deliciously Obedient is going. I can't say this is my favorite book but it is not my least favorite either. It is a little long winded. Yet I gave it 5 stars because I was very entertained. Julia Kent kept me turning the pages. There was not very much sex, but when there finely was it was very hot. Julia Kent built up to the sex like a good man build [...]

    23. This is book 2 in this series. This book covers the fresh start for Lydia since the fiasco of Mike/Matt and her public profile. Lydia gets a job transfer to Iceland to get as far away from her past as possible. Here she meets Jeremy and they develop a relationship. As with the previous book, the previous characters who played a role in Lydia's life continue to add support and light humour. Lydia learns a lot about herself in this book and what Mike meant to her. Great reading flow and ease of re [...]

    24. Sorry but the second book was better than the first book!!! The story line and characters were great an you learned more about all of them In this book you can laugh one moment, and cry the next, that is awesome writing from the author. I think if an author can get you lost in a book they knocked the book out of the park, just like this author did with this second book in the series I didn't want this book to end I wanted more and more. I cried and laugh, and real got into the story and characte [...]

    25. I was so excited at the end of book one and couldn't wait to find out more about Lydia and Mike. This book is well written, crisper and funnier than book one, with the adorable Jeremy sent in to save the day. Trying to make amends and save Lydia further embarrassment, Mike sends her abroad and sends his friend after her to make sure she is ok. But with the internet, nothing is private and as people in Iceland realize who Lydia is, she turns to the only friend she has close by. Jeremy and Lydia b [...]

    26. I have to say that since reading Julia's first book her writing has grown by leaps and bounds. This book did not disappoint in any way. The sex scenes so hot I thought my wallpaper was going to peel off the walls. I found a great connection to the characters that I didn't have before and I loved it!! The only negative thing I could say is the ending left me just breathless I didn't want it to end and I definitely do not want to wait for the next installment.

    27. Mike is off finding himself and a way to get Lydia back. Lydia is in Iceland at working in a made up job that Mike gave her. Jeremy is sent to watch over her, unfortunately he might just be going a step further. This book was more about Jeremy and Lydia. They start getting a lot closer, but she can't help dreaming about all three of them together. I can't wait until the next book to see everything come together.

    28. Love this storydidn't care for her being sent away which was really of no use to the story except that she had more of a relationship with Jeremy. And what to think of that now? Does she stay with him or go back to Mike in book 3? Makes you wonder?? I wish Mike would have fought for her a bit more before sending her away or at least explaining why she got the promotion instead of hearing it from Jeremy. Looking forward to book 3 for sure!!!

    29. I'm used to looking like a crazy person when reading Julia's books (laughing so loudly while sitting in my office "working") but I didn't find that with this series. While it was a great series it just lacked the magic from some of the other series. I loved the characters and could see where it was heading but it just took so darn long to get there. I wish it would have gotten there in book 1 and then expanded into books 2 and 3.

    30. I so enjoy this trilogy from Julia Kent even if I read the third book before the second book! Kind of ruins the second book when you do that but it was still a great read and filled in a few of the holes between the first and third book! You will not be disappointed at all (no matter what order you read them in)! That one thing I love about Julia books they can all be read as stand alone but they all have you craving more!
