    1. My review of So This is Love by Barbara Freethy as part of the Incredible Callaway Blog Tour-wrathsqueensbooks.

    2. Being a fire investigator, Emma Callaway occasionally has to work on a case with SFPD Inspector Max Harrison. Their mutual attraction is unmistakable, but they strive to stay professional. While investigating the latest string of fires, the attraction becomes too much to deny. As things begin to escalate between Emma and Max, the arsonist targets Emma. With the case almost solved, Emma discovers just how much her childhood has to do with the fires.I enjoyed meeting the Callaways in the first boo [...]

    3. Romantic suspense at it's very best. The Callaways are a wonderful family. Emma is a strong woman who loves her job as an Arson Investigator. Max, her love interest is a Homicide Detective. Sparks fly in more than the fires. The Callaway family is a bigger than life family. Love meeting each and every one, and seeing how their separate and family lives intertwine in each book. You will never go wrong choosing a Barbara Freethy novel.

    4. 3.5 FLAMING STARSThis book carries on the with the arson story from the previous book where Max and Emma were introduced to us, it was an ok read and i will carry on with the story as I need to know what Grandma's secret is!its kind of a hate to love trope, with Max being a cop and Emma being a fire investigator. All in all a pleasant story!

    5. Just when I thought it couldn't get any better this story blows me away. What an awesome continuation from the first book in the series. I was captivated from the very first page, I could't wait to see what happened next but I didn't want it to end. Can't wait to start the third book. I highly recommend this, you won't be disappointed.

    6. 3.5 stars.A good carryover from book 2 with a few of the storylines. I like how the author writes about the other family members and their struggles because it is getting me very intrigued in reading some of their upcoming stories. The arson storyline was interesting though the climax felt very soap opera-y. But I liked Emma, she's a tough girl.

    7. I love Barbara Freethy books. You won't be disappointed if you read them. The Calaway family is one who supports each other so much.

    8. Two-haiku review:She looks at arsonHe's homicide detectiveThey clash and then burn!Well done mysteryI didn't figure it outRomance very hot

    10. Emma and Max’s Fiery Tryst! 3.5*****Solemn, reticent Détective Max Harrison works with Fire Investigator Emma Callaway to solve a series of arsons that finally claim Sister Margaret’s life and centers the arsonist’s bull’s eye directly on Emma’s chest. Together the two heated dislike for each other, turn into a passionate one night stand that eventually morphs into cohabitation and a three month romance and engagement. They resolve Max’s brother, Spencer’s, attraction with Stephan [...]

    11. I love this series and although I have read a couple out of sequence, this is my favorite book so far. I just loved Max and Emma. Two very strong characters, very well defined. I love how Barbara incorporates all the rest of the families with the two main characters. The romance was predictable, but the story line held a lot of intrigue and suspense and of course romance. It was a fast read and a book that was hard to put down. I really enjoy the books by this author. I can't wait to read the re [...]

    12. I enjoyed this second in the Callaway series. I got a boxed set through bookbub. I had already read the first one. Very predictable, but a sweet romance. Mindless but fun. This genre is the dessert of reading for me. There are several books in this series, and I'm looking forward to reading them all.

    13. Another enjoyable read about The Callaways. Max and Emma are great characters and the whodunnit feel of the story kept me absorbed, wondering who was responsible for the horrible things happening. Good blend of romance and drama.

    15. Whoa. Best Family Ever.Emma is so strong, determined, and curious in nature. Max is the strong, silent, moody type. They are an awesome couple.

    16. Love on fireGood story with fun couple Emma And Max. The mystery was very good too. I must admit I am crushing on Mac's brother!

    17. Definitely better than the first book in the series. It doesn't leave me wanting to rush to get the next book in the series though.

    18. I really like this series. I like that the author sets up new story lines and adds new characters. I cannot wait to read #3.

    19. Book # 2 in the Callaway seriesLOVE this family and their adventures!!! Can not wait to get started with book # 3!

    20. Emma Callaway has followed the family tradition firefighting for a career. She is a good fire investigator who is fearless and has good instincts. She has always tried hard to keep up with the family’s reputation. But when it comes to her personal life, she has made a few mistakes and has sworn off men for the time being. Max Harrison is a cop with a very good track record and he is back in his hometown for what he thinks is a short time. He has sworn off love completely since his father left [...]

    21. If the first of the Callaway series was good, this was even better. I enjoy how these series interlocks with each book that I read that just makes me want to read the next in the series. In this book, I liked both Max and Emma and felt they both has strong personalities. Glad I found this series and looking forward to the next book.

    22. Taking up from book one, Emma Callaway is a fire investigator searching for the arsonist that caused the death of her brother’s best friend. We met Emma in the first book, one of the many Callaways that were introduced in that book. Max is a detective, and with a potential arson case with a death, it is logical that a homicide investigator would be brought in. Emma and Max are polar opposites: her boisterous and supportive family has left her with a solidly optimistic outlook and a true zest f [...]

    23. A female arson investigator and a homicide detective negotiate their mutual attraction as they struggle to catch a firebug whose motives are deeply personal.Emma Callaway is a woman in a man's job. This is made even harder by the fact that her family is so entwined with the San Francisco Fire Department. Emma has to work three times as hard as her colleagues. She doesn't have time for distractionsd that's what homicide cop Max Harrison represents. Max has problems of his own. He's burdened by hi [...]

    24. So This Is Love (Callaways #2) by Barbara Freethy3.5 StarsThe Callaway saga continues with Emma, a fire investigator who is trying to solve the string of arson attacks around the city. Also investigating is Max Harrison, a homicide detective who has recently returned to the area after years of living away. It soon becomes evident that Emma is the connection between the blazes and the race is on to see why the things that mean most to her are being targeted before someone else dies.Max and Emma h [...]

    25. I loved this book. I was drawn to Emma and Max from the first book so I was hoping their story would be great. They are similar in their passion and determination, but they also learn they are similar in the inability to resist the feelings that are building towards each other.Emma is part of the Callaway Family. A long tradition of fire fighters, she is now a fire inspector. She is trying to solve a series of arsons that keep hitting close to home. At the same time she is battling the ex-boyfri [...]
