    1. The Wizard of Oz meets Self-Help in this inspiring fictional weave about the slightly "off-center" Stella Harris. As a child, Stella always won the flying game. Now, she was playing for her life, and only the wisdom of Oz could save her.Written with a fine thread of connection to the original Wizard of Oz story, it becomes ultimately clear that Stella has identified with the mythological Dorothy. 2. I won this book through GoodReads first read program. This just wasn't the book for me. Deelstra uses the main character, Stella Rose Harris and her psychiatric sessions with Dr. Marvel to educate us on psychology and self improvement techniques. I felt like I was in a lecture not reading a fictional story. If you are into pschology and self improvement this might be something you would enjoy. Just not me.
