    1. I got this book through the making connections group by the author and glad I did.Loved this read. I loved how the uptight Elliot after meeting Alex starts to question his life and choices. She gets him to open up and see the world differently. The writing is wonderful and it keeps you wanting more. Elliot Walker: He will have you melt to goo. His self confidence and arrogance at times will have you annoyed but he underneath it all he is a kind and caring man. His problem is his overbearing moth [...]

    2. I was Drawn into a story where a woman does everything in her power to gain welth. I was hooked on this book. It took me a while to actuallly get into it, but once I did, I had no problems. This book invited me in, and I was hypnotized by the characters, and the story line of the book. I fell in love with Alexis, and all of her attatude. She is a strong female character that you have to respect. I even loved golddigger Rachael. She did everything in her power to become a Walker. The author has do [...]

    3. I was pleasantly surprised that this book took place in post Katrina New Orleans. The setting gave the steamy story a background that held the characters in place. This is a delightful read that is perfect to take the day to day humdrum out of your life and send you away to New Orleans peeking into the lives of Alexis and Elliot. I was rooting for the couple the entire book and I won't give away the ending, the twists and turns are worth it!

    4. Take one overbearing and beastly mother, a free spirited and outspoken woman, a stiffly controlled and apparently docile good son, and a shark in stilettos lady lawyer who also happens to be the controlled son’s fiancé, and you are just starting to unwind the multiple plot points, relationships and characters that inhabit this novel before they invade your thoughts. What appears is a love quadrangle of sorts: Alex loves Elliot despite his wishy-washy behavior, uptight and almost rigid belief [...]

    5. I received this book in exchange for my honest review.Elliott is the adopted son that wanted to make his way on his own and have his adopted family be proud of him. He was working hard and making his way and preparing to marry the woman that his mother had chosen. Alexis is a decorator that Elliott hires on the recommendation from his fiance, Rachel, to decorate what will be their home after their marriage. She is struggling with getting her business back under way and repairing her house after [...]

    6. What a tantalising story. This book is ready to made into a movie! Then at least it would not seem so stupid when I am shouting at the characters, trying to get them to see reason and see all the backstabbing going on around them! The intrigue of this story was brilliant! The story was fast paced and sometimes scary to realise what people are capable of! Alex had a wonderful personality, one that I think most of us can take some pointers from. Elliot, well he was just delicious on all fronts, es [...]

    7. *Copy provided by the author in exchange for an honest review*Picture Perfect is a love story including richly described characters that go from smoking hot to ice cold and back. I loved the well-described chemistry between the characters and I particularly enjoyed the second half of the novel. My review looses a star for the relatively slow start - the first 100 pages or so did not sit great with me, it's might just be personal preference. I wish the authors good luck with the release - this bo [...]

    8. I received this book in exchange for my honest review.Let me just say I enjoyed this book VERY much!Elliot is an adopted business owner and quite wealthy. His mother has arranged for him to marry Rachel who he realizes he as nothing in common with and certainly doesn't love. Alexis "Alex" is an interior designer he hires to decorate his mansion, and ends up falling in love with. But between Rachel and his Mother he has a very hard time figuring out what to do. This book has drama drama drama! I [...]

    9. Picture Perfect is a contemporary novel that takes place during the rebuilding/revitalization of New Orleans post hurricane Katrina. The heroine Alex (Alexis) is a twenty something year old African American interior designer desperately trying to rebuild her design business. However, like many of the real life victims of Katrina, she is having major issues with money and the insurance company.Alex is also facing self doubt about her decision to stick it out in New Orleans, a city she loves. She [...]

    10. Set in New Orleans just after Hurricane Katrina hit Alexis (Alex, 25) Morgan (interior decorator) moves from Atlanta to open up Accents & Ambience. She is not looking for romance. Her mother Doris had an ongoing affair with a married man Alex isn’t gonna let this happen to her but in walks wealthy Elliot Walker (CEO & founder of Walker Way technology) into her life. Julia Walker is Elliot’s adoptive mother. Whitney Ferrand (COO) & Peter Lif (CFO) are Elliot’s other professional [...]

    11. Find this review and more at Lusty Penguin Reviews!Leslie C. Ferdinand’s intense and entertaining characters are caught in a love triangle in Picture Perfect. Set in a post-Katrina New Orleans, Ferdinand shows the struggles of a city rebuilding while at the same time showing the demise of one relationship and the birth of a new one.Ferdinand successfully develops three very different characters for her love triangle. Cold-hearted Rachel, a lawyer with serious financial problems, is engaged to [...]

    12. As posted on The Smutty Kitty reviewed by Sexx Kitten3 out of 5 LicksI found this book hard to get into and although the premise of the story was good it did drag on. Also some of the dialogue was really difficult to understand so I skipped over a lot of it. The biggest problem I had with the story was the way that Elliot was controlled by his mother Julia. He is supposed to be a successful businessman yet he is unable to stand up to his mother who was most insistent that he marry Rachel, a girl [...]

    13. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I loved the main characters, Alex and Elliot. This is a fantastic and beautiful love story between a very talented interior decorator down on her luck and a very successful business man set in New Orleans after hurricane Katrina. Elliot hires Alex to redecorate his mansion before his up coming wedding to his fiancee, Rachel, a very successful business woman. Being adopted, Elliot agrees to marry Rachel to please his mother. Elliot and Rachel haven't known each oth [...]

    14. This book had everything you would love in a book: Romance, drama, and action. Throw in a sociopath villain and her criminal cousin to seal the deal. Rachel had only wanted Elliot for what he could provide her (money and material things) love wasn't even on her agenda but murder, money, and power was. In comes Alexis (Alex) a breath of fresh air, nothing like the woman his mother chosen for him. She a little unorthodox but I think that's what made him fall in her. She is beautiful, strong willed [...]

    15. I really loved this book. It was interesting with a great plot to follow and I mean that very much. The plot had me want to keep reading to see what happened next. I never wanted to put the book down once I started and only did when I had to for school! It has drama, suspense, love and romance (my favorite part). I loved how each of the characters were and how the ebb and flow of the story went. My favorite character of course being Alexis with her spunk and attitude! The romance scenes were ver [...]

    16. I had the honor of receiving a copy of this one for my honest review. When I realized it was about New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina, I was not sure I wanted to read it since I went through Katrina all those years ago, although I was in South Mississippi and not New Orleans. I began reading and was pulled into the story of people after Katrina and trying to put their lives back on track and really enjoyed the story line. It has everything I look for in a great read, love, hurt, pain, and a gol [...]

    17. I had an extremely hard time getting into this story. There were several times when I considered giving up on this book yet felt that it was my responsibility to read the entire book since I was given the opportunity to read it for free in exchange for my honest review. I personally found this story dull and predictable. I did not become invested in the characters nor did I feel an urge to read on late into the night to see what would happen next. The book was not poorly written; there were no e [...]

    18. My sincerest apologies to the authors! Full review to come shortly.Who knows what the heck has been happening to my shelves since middle of this yr. Getting really, REALLY tired of tracking down missing books and/or reviews (as well as finding strange 'read' ones on my shelves).
