    1. For once I think the anime was better than the manga. This is just one story, one in which a cat mononoke haunts a feudal house and destroys a wedding. This is actually referenced in the anime I believe. It was pretty good, I mean it was how you would expect an episode of the anime to play out, but it didnt bring anything new or different to the table with the manga medium, besides a few interestingly stylized panels.

    2. will always be one of the favourites to re-read, to re-watch. lovely, lovely art. lovely ugly people. the story is the focal point and the main character the background. also, one wil come to the conclusion that it is never wise to piss off cats.
