    1. So, if you know me, you know I have told you all about how much I loved the Redemption series with Marcas (oh baby), Dayton (sarcasm on a stick), Monroe & Connor. But I was so busy gushing over them, that I dont know if I told you about Connors spin off The Acropolis Series? Well, I should have. This is the second book from that series, and I tell you, RKs writing & storytelling was wonderful, but this book has proven that this woman just goes from strength to [...]

    2. I was very excited about this series right off, because I loved Redemption and its characters and didn't want to see their story end. However, the Acropolis series has not only given back some of what I loved about Redemption, but has a life of its own, bringing in new characters that I can't wait to see more of and adding to the fantastic world Ryals has created. The Labyrinth takes Emma and the half-blood demons through their biggest challenge yet - relying on each other. With the help of their [...]

    3. After reading The Labyrinth, I am, yet again, in awe of the talent of this Author. R.K. Ryals turns out one epic series after another. In The Redemption series, you meet Conor, and learn a little about him. In The Acropolis, you learn about his life outside of Dayton and Monroe. But, in The Labyrinth, I think you really learn who he is, and what has shaped him. Emma is beginning to find her place in the new world she has been thrust into, and I really love seeing things from both POVs. The evolu [...]

    4. I was so very lucky to get a chance to read this book in advance. Acropolis is a series close to my heart. I'm absolutely in love with the storyline. For starters, it's unique. R.K. introduces a society of Hybrids.dren born from demon/human relations that have to fight for a place among the outer layers of hell. Emma Chase is one of those hybrids, who in the first book discovers that her mother is a very powerful demon. In comes Conor, a gargoyle that has been found in disgrace by the Gargoyle s [...]

    5. I actually don't know where to start but I guess I should say how much this book made me feel. R.K Ryals definitely wowed me again! Clearly, she's one of my most favorite authors ever because she's never disappointed me. Every book she has written that I've read had never failed to make me feel every single emotion her characters feels or experiences. Every word and every emotion written on her books affected me to my very core.Labyrinth is the second book of the Acropolis series. It was two mon [...]

    7. The Labyrinth, second book in the Acropolis series is even better than the first! Where at first the hyrbid demon kids at the Acropolis school were looking for freedom from prejudice and persecution, now they are on a new journey toward securing a haven, a new kingdom for those of half human and half demon blood. In the final book of the Redemption series (of which this series is a spin-off), hybrid demon Marcas Craig fought Lucifer for control of one of Hell's Outer Levels, to use as a safe hav [...]

    8. Another awesome book in the Acropolis series. I loved getting to continue Emma and Conor's story and see all my favourite characters again - both from the first book and from the Redemption series. In this book, Emma is learning more about mastering her powers over emotions while trying to deal with her own emotions. A couple of months have passed since the end of Acropolis and the escaped hybrids have reluctantly become a team and agreed to embark on a dangerous quest for Marcas, the new hybrid [...]

    9. Review 7*******This is the second book in the Acropolis Series. I have been eagerly awaiting the release of this book. It was most definitely worth the wait!Conor Reinhardt is a fabulous character! He may be a gargoyle, but he is first and foremost a protector. He is very conflicted and consumed with guilt, but is determined to protect the hybrids he and Will managed to rescue from the Acropolis.Emma Chase is one of the hybrids that Conor saved. She is half human and half demon. She had thought [...]

    10. The Labyrinth joins Connor Reinhardt once again with Emma Chase and the hybrid demons. They have escaped the Acropolis and now Marcas is in need of a favor of these orphaned hybrids. In order for him to secure his position in the Outer Levels of hell he needs the Spear of Destiny. And the only way to get it is in the realm of Emma’s demon mother, Enipsigos. They are unsure of this mission handed to them by their hybrid king but his faith in them and wise words make them accept – together the [...]

    11. Ok so first of all I cried Yes I'm a crier. I cry for love and loss. Hell I cry at sappy commercials but this time I cried for the loss of a friend. It surprised me most of all because it's not who I thought I would of been sad to lose. I'm not saying anything more on thatThe Labyrinth is crazy Both the story and the fight for the spear of Destiny. All of the young hybrids have to come together and go through frightening challenges all to collect the spear of destiny that will help in their figh [...]

    12. The Labyrinth (Acropolis Series book 2) by R. K. RyalsReview by Becky Harley5 StarsI Loved this book. Now in exile after escaping the Acropolis, Emma and Conor find themselves working with the other hybrid’s in order to help the new Hybrid King Marcus ensure the future of the highbred race. In order to do this they must venture in to Enipsigos’ Labyrinth. After the events of the previous book in the series it was nice to see how each of the characters has grown, in particular Emma. She has beg [...]

    13. Heart-wrenchingly amazing!R.K. Ryals can do no wrong of this I'm sure. I loved the Redemption series and couldn't wait to read this series and get to know Conor better. If you want to read a book that takes you far away from normal but keeps it all believable this is it. This book contains so many different creatures but it never felt fake or made up. R.K. Ryals writes with such description that I felt like I was a part of the story battling the fights with the hybrids. I loved all the character [...]

    14. The second book in the Acropolis series at first had me scratching my head, but about half way though, it clicked. This book is NOT, I repeat, NOT a romance. Though there is a love 'interest' and that 'interest' does help keep the parties invested in what's happening, it is by no means the driving point of this story.Once I got past that, the story really began to click with me and I finished the book within an hour or so, because I was so invested in finding out how all these hybrids would work [...]

    15. Just a few pages in and there's already action, and tension with the characters, I love it! "Sarcasm is overrated, Bruno. Conor Reinhardt is Emma's protector. For him, that's practically a declaration of love." Conor was really frustrating me in this book, second guessing some of his choices and not being able to make up his mind on things that should have been made up on a long time ago. Then there are some of his actions that pissed me off, it's like SERIOUSLY! The love Conor has for Emma is s [...]

    16. I started with the Redemption series and loved those and wanted to see Conor meet his match. I like Emma, Dee, and all of the half-demons in this book. With the way book 1 ended, I wasn't sure how this group fell in with Marcas and the other half demons. I did enjoy how it all came together, but definitely not liking the cliffhanger at the end of the book. I'm still thinking through how Conor and Will will get out of this one. What makes this series good are the characters and their interactions [...]

    17. If you ever played Dungeons and Dragons or any other roleplaying game, you are certainly familiar with the idea of a heterogeneous group thrown into a cave with a certain target to achieve.Well, one of the things that group would have hated so much they'd abort the adventure is to have no control over the challenges. We try to find traps but each trap is finding us faster. The roof of the cave is caving in so fast that we can't even start applying our skills. And then the dungeon master whips ou [...]

    18. I liked this one more than the first which is good for me as that doesn't often happen with series for meI think there was a lot of potential for this book and I think it could have been a little bet better. I feel like the labyrinth part could have been more complicated and action packed. I did like that part but I felt like there should have been more thats all I wantedI did really like the growth in this book especially with the main group of hybrids and Connor as they all did the labyrinth t [...]

    19. Read the first book and really enjoyed it this author improves and improves and improves is beyond me!! I never thought I would fall in love with a group of demons and one sexy gargoyle! Who would've thought!!? Not me!!! This is the second book in the series and picks up right where we left off. Our favorite group of new friends, no matter that they are demonic, are thrown into a new battle they didn't choose but it chose them! With something horrifying at every turn will they all come out alive [...]

    20. OMG I LOVE THIS SERIES! I also love how this series ties together with The Redemption Series. All my favorite characters are present in some fashion plus I get to fall in love with so many more. Extremely well written with flawed characters that you see grow and the comradery that develops as they face the trials and tribulations of the labyrinth. I will also warn you, I cried my eyes out. The closeness I developed with these unlikely heros even surprised me. The labyrinth they must journey thro [...]

    21. This a good bridge to the final chapterI found this book had hope. a group of misfit hybrids band together to for freedom. it was beautiful to watch as the story developed. Emma has really grown on me. she is the glue of the group. it's interesting to watch her metamorphosis. she is blossoming into a goddess!! Connor is so conflicted. he had a lot to ponder. he has to choose his path. he has to stop running. he evolves as much as Emma. now on to the final chapter to see where their choices take [...]

    22. This novel is a continuation of The Acropolis. Now that the hybrids have found sanctuary, they have been sent on a mission to secure a homeland. Meanwhile, as Conor contemplates his feelings for Emma, he continues to learn more about himself. This YA series has a positive message for teens. If you don't like the path your parents took, you can choose a different one for yourself. It's all about being true to your beliefs. If you're enjoying this series, you may want to try the more advanced Redemp [...]

    23. I hate to say this, but I've given-up-for-now on Connor/Emma. The writing is not as good as it was in Ryals' Redemption series and the story just isn't as entertaining. I was expecting more I guess. I wanted to love Connor - he really caught my attention in the Redemption books, but he's just 'meh' here. I still love R.K. Ryals as an author and plan to come back to this one to finish it, but right now it's just too easy to set it aside in favor of something more gripping.

    24. loved the twists and turns and trial and tribulations all characters had to endear! R.K. does an amazing job playing the story in my head. Conor and Emmaoh what a stubborn team glad to see the hybrids all work together for a cause and put there differences aside! all for the greater good right!! Roachyou my friend are not a nice gargoyle! well done all in all love the continuation of characters can't wait for book 3! much love to you R.K!!

    25. Marcus the Hybrid king needs Emma and the other hybrids to get the Spear Of destiny from Emma's mom. They need the spear to keep lucifer out of the outer levels of hell so the hybrids wont have to bow down to him. They have to travel through the labyrinth and endure many trials, demons are sent to try and stop them. Lessons are learned and friendships are solidified. Story about true strength and courage. 26. What I loved about the Redemption series was the relationship between Dayton & Marcas and Dayton's character. This one is half way there with Emma as a likeable heroine but Connor is not at all appealing ( I like Will better) and the romance feels forced and lacking in any connection.

    27. The second in the series was just as good as the first. Love the character development in this one. This book would be a very good choice for kids as well as adults. It has violence and death but a lesson as well.

    28. The Labyrinth was a wonderful book. so emotional! I felt for Emma and with Her loss of Ace and for the loss of the Hesther. I loved how much Conor was there for Emma and how all the Hybrids learned to stand as one! I am anxious to hear what happens next!
