    1. The opening of this story seems a bit cliched, a tough sort of guy meeting with a sexy client, but the story departs from the norm quickly. The protagonist, Malo Kemp is no muscle bound, laser toting hero, but a down on his luck junk man with a broken down spaceship. He's trying to get a new liver for an old friend. I love that Melo isn't rich and has no unusual abilities. The story is well written and nicely plotted. The ending comes as a delightful and satisfying surprise.

    2. Interesting short read, clunky writing style. While the story was fine, the authors writing style was a bit tough for me. With that said I enjoyed the book and was left wishing the story would have been more meaty.
