    1. Of course I give it five stars — I'm in it. But aside from my chapter on the roots of Red Dirt music, ahem, there's a lot of great reading here, essays exploring all kinds of niches and crannies in the state's history.

    2. Challenging read! I had to stretch my mind around new ideas. I really like that!! I love my state, but there are problems, as this book points out. I learned more about my state's history, and need to learn more about the government in OK.
