    1. A book of meditation that balances knowledge and technique. This book alternates between two types of sections. First, a reflection-style essay describes lesson or type of growth to be pursued through meditation in nature. These sections are then followed by a practical decription/guided meditation designed to engender that kind of growth. The reflections are of high quality, diving fairly deep into difficult Buddhist subjects like equanimity and impermance, including the impermanence of life it [...]

    2. I felt such excitement and joy reading this book many great exercises and meditations and a simple and elegant wisdom that comes from the author's many years studying Buddhism. I feel these practices marry well with my own terrapsychological practices.
