    1. Spenser loves these books! As a parent, I can get behind any series this cute that keeps him interested.

    2. This series continues to impress me. A first chapter book aimed at 5-7 year olds it is suitable for that age group and both advanced youngsters and reluctant older readers as the age or grade of the children is hardly, if ever, mentioned. My son has outgrown this series now, but being learning challenged he did read it up to 12yo and enjoyed it. I read this one on my own and like the others found it to be extremely fast paced. Each chapter is exciting, the comedy is humorous, a value is learned [...]

    3. Who hasn't felt the terror of the Blobby Blob-Blob at the bottom of the pool? Thankfully for the people of Sunnyview, Captain Awesome and Nacho Cheese Man are on the case, ready to face evil to make things safe again. Another solid installment in the series.

    4. Didn't entirely like how almost each chapter had an awesome event happening, but then bam, it was over before we could find out anything. Like the author forgot to write the ending for each chapter. I am really curious about Sally, hopefully we will find out about her more soon.

    5. Didn't enjoy this one as much. I'm sure that kids will, but it just felt like a million other books I had read. Plus I felt like I just read the same plot in "Squish" and it was better there. But I still feel like this is a cute and well-done early reader series.

    6. I am a fan of this early reader series because my 6-year-old son loves them. These are the first chapter books he wants to read. As a parent I don't love that vegetables are bad guys, but my son finds this quite amusing.

    7. Not my favorite in the series, but my stepson loved it. All of the Captain Awesome books are fun to read aloud, and I love an excuse to use my superhero reading voice.

    8. I loved this book because it had funny characters and he thought every single person was a bad guy and guess what? he even called his little sister Miss Stinky Pants.
