    2. This book was OK. As I get older I find myself less and less tolerant of heroines that can't learn from their actions. Or maybe I'm less tolerant because I've read good books where the heroine does learn from her mistakes, but I digress.Sophie is so single-mindedly determined to be independent, even though she has had to beg the mercy of her Mother's family for a place to live, that she constantly makes the same mistakes over and over. She does not listen to others, even when her own past action [...]

    3. Observation the first: This is not a smutty bookObservation the second: Sadly.Observation the third: Still a cute read. Well-written, fast-paced, and has nice clear villains to hate.Observation the fourth: The heroine was kind of an idiot at times, but I still liked her.Observation the fifth: The ending was abrupt and just the teensiest bit disappointing for it.Observation the sixth: Why am I writing the review like this? It's just silly!Observation the seventh: The hero can be a bit of an idjit [...]

    4. two annoying lead charactersThe heroine is brave, stubborn, prideful and rash. The hero is insensitive and dictatorial. They're made for each other but reading about their romance was a chore.
