    1. In Everything She Does is Magick by Maggie Shayne, Aurora is an excellent physician with a magical healing touch. From the time she is an infant, the three eccentric aunts who raised her determine that it's Aurora's destiny to marry Nathan, who must remain a virgin until then. Problem is that the two have never gotten along. The aunts go to great, and sometimes ridiculous lengths to prevent Nathan from giving himself to another woman before Aurora and he learn that emotions as strong as hate are [...]

    2. I read Maggie Shayne’s short story “Everything She Does is Magick” first. This was really good! Very enjoyable read. If you don’t like stories where the hero and heroine start off by hating each other than this is not the short story for you. I also read Amy Elizabeth Saunders’ “A Spell of Mist and Roses.” That was very good! I had never read anything before by Ms. Saunders and just might have to look into what else she has read. It was a hilarious and sweet short novella. I give 5 [...]

    3. 4.5Saving Sirena by Susan Krinard - 3. Cute but insubstantial story. The heroine was a bit annoying but I liked the hero. And the heroine's familiar was entertaining. I would try Krinard again.Everything She Does is Magick by Maggie Shayne - 5. I laughed, I sighed, I cried; this one brought all the feels. And I'm definitely going to seek out more of Shayne's work.To Mend a Spell by Lisa Higdon - 2. IMO, the weakest of the bunch. It had an interesting setting and an intriguing hero that were unfo [...]

    4. The story line was a fun idea but execution failed. The main character, being a witch, could have done more witchcraft than just float him around a few times. Both characters were dull. All the side characters were dull. The cliches almost killed me. It's not the worst book I've read in my life but I would not recommend it to anyone.

    5. Four short stories by four unknown (to me writers) and they were great! Not the biggest fan of romance but I'm always in the mood for well-written stories and all four fit the bill.

    6. OVERALL:Saving Sirena by Susan Krinard Everything She Does is Magick by Maggie Shayne To Mend a Spell by Lisa Higdon A Spell of Mist and Roses by Amy Elizabeth Saunders

    7. I'm a big reader of supernatural romance but these stories just didn't do it for me. I bought the book for Maggie Shayne's story but the last one by Amy Saunders was the strongest.
